Job Description
As a Mid iOS Engineer at Bilue, you will build high quality iOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI that real people love to use. You will work in an agile squad, collaborate with product, design, backend and QA, and turn feedback into elegant, reliable code. You will own features from design to release, demo your work to clients, and keep standards high with testing, thoughtful reviews and healthy CI. Responsibilities
Build, test, and maintain iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, follow clean code and best practices.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement features that meet user needs and business objectives.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance issues and bugs to keep the app smooth.
Work closely with backend developers, UX and UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver end to end solutions.
Write unit, UI, and integration tests to maintain reliability and robustness.
Stay up to date with iOS trends, tools, and frameworks, and share learnings with the team.
Work in agile squads, plan sprints, demo work, and turn feedback into clean code.
Uphold CI, static analysis, and sensible automation to keep pipelines healthy.
Qualifications
About You
You enjoy building intuitive, beautiful user experiences and know what makes a good mobile app great. You bring experience, curiosity, and a sharp eye for detail, and you are keen to grow alongside a passionate team of engineers.
4+ years of iOS development with Swift
Proficient in SwiftUI and UIKit, comfortable with MVVM or Clean Architecture
Experience, or strong interest, in Server Driven UI
Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON, third party libraries and SDKs such as Alamofire and Realm
Confident with Git, branching strategies, and code reviews
Solid testing habits, unit and UI tests with XCTest and XCUITest, strong debugging with Instruments
Strong stakeholder management, confident running client sessions, demos, and turning feedback into clear actions
Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical concepts in plain English
Collaborates well with product, design, backend, and QA
Familiar with agile ways of working, Scrum or Kanban
Exposure to App Store submission processes and policies
Knowledge of dependency management, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, Carthage
Awareness of accessibility standards and localisation
Bonus points
GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise
Backend exposure, Swift or Node.js
Familiarity with AWS or another cloud platform
