Permanent, Part-time Opportunity (1 day per week)
Are you someone who's passionate about investing in young people and supporting their journey of faith and leadership? This role will assist in overseeing current ministry programs and provide the chance to help develop new ones, all while building meaningful pathways for discipleship and leadership among youth. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pastors and ministry leaders, connecting them to relevant networks and resources.
- Support the planning and delivery of ministry programs and events within a core engagement area.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and pastoral care to ministry teams and volunteers.
- Collaborate on identifying ministry needs, evaluating program impact, and driving continuous improvement.
About You
You are passionate about walking alongside young people in their faith and leadership journey, with a heart for discipleship and youth development. Demonstrating a strong commitment to Jesus Christ, you uphold the authority of the Bible, and are eligible for endorsement as a Ministering Person with Churches of Christ.
Other Requirements
- Prior experience with participation in a leadership or ministry role in a Christian church or denomination.
- Demonstrated ability to model a missional lifestyle and experience communicating Christian beliefs and convictions within an Australian context.
- Current Driver's Licence
- Possess a current National Police Certificate - or the ability to acquire.
- Possess Working with Children (Blue Card) - or the ability to acquire.
