Permanent, Part-time Opportunity (1 day per week)
Are you passionate about the next generation and have a heart for children's ministry? We're looking for a Ministry Co-ordinator to join our Church Engagement team one day per week, helping to invest in and develop children's ministry through local churches across Queensland.
In this role, you'll work closely with our Ministry Partners to coordinate events, develop resources, and strengthen networks that support the work of affiliated churches. You'll be a key connector—building trusted relationships, offering guidance, and helping leaders access the tools they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pastors and ministry leaders;
- Coordinate and support ministry programs, events, and resources;
- Provide leadership and pastoral care to ministry teams and volunteers;
- Collaborate on strategy and continuous improvement with Ministry Partners;
- Embody and promote the mission and values of Churches of Christ.
About You
You are organised, relational, and committed to seeing local churches flourish. As a practical visionary, you are someone ready to invest in and develop children's ministry for the future of the Church in Queensland.
Other Requirements
- Prior experience with participation in a leadership or ministry role in a Christian church or denomination.
- Demonstrated ability to model a missional lifestyle and experience communicating Christian beliefs and convictions within an Australian context.
- Current Driver's Licence
- Possess a current National Police Certificate - or the ability to acquire.
- Possess Working with Children (Blue Card) - or the ability to acquire.
