Wood is recruiting a Mobilisation & Travel Administrator as part of our strategic growth plan for 2025 and beyond. You will join our Operations business in a pivotal role as we partner with a major player in the Oil & Gas industry on a major brownfields Engineering Service Contract. Step up into a dedicated client contract team working from the client’s office, based in Perth CBD. This is a permanent role and is available as a full-time / part-time (job share) basis.

Reporting to the Manager of Construction & Commissioning and with the guidance and mentoring support from the Lead Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the offshore mobilisation & travel team for one of our key Oil & Gas clients.
You will be responsible for:
- Assist the team in the onboarding and mobilisation process to all offshore employees
- Monitor and maintain compliance with Offshore travel, training compliance and booking for Trade & Craft workers
- Booking and arranging inductions and training requirements for new and current employees
- Organizing and managing travel arrangements for clients, vendors, and employees such as flights, hotel accommodations, car hire/ taxis
- Coordinating with Client agents and other service providers to ensure that all travel needs are met
- Tracking and maintaining company travel issues, policy compliance, and generating reports
- Handle any travel-related emergencies or changes, providing timely solutions to ensure minimal disruption.
- Assist Contract Manager preparing reports, room booking etc.
You must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role and reside in Perth, WA.
Ideally, you are an independent, career focused, office based professional with 2+ years proven administration experience. A Business & Administration Certificate II along with some industry experience within Oil & Gas / Mining / Building / Construction is also advantageous (not essential). In addition, you will be:
- Detail focused with strong administrative skills, typing with speed and accuracy
- An intermediate to advanced IT user and experienced in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams)
- Ready to commit to a long-term career within the Western Australian resource industry
- A team player, always have your teammates back and understand you must work together to win
- Punctual, reliable, conscientious, courteous and care to go the extra mile to make the difference
