MSS Security are seeking a Security Site Supervisor at Parliament House, Tasmania.
This role presents a unique opportunity to work in one of our high-profile, prestigious sites. As a Security Site Supervisor , you will play a key role in supporting the operational delivery of security services, leading a team of officers, and ensuring that the security standards and client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and support to a team of security officers.
- Monitor and coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day security operations.
- Ensure all procedures and protocols are followed in line with MSS Security and client expectations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for incident response and reporting.
- Leading by example you will foster a culture of professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Liaise professionally with Parliament House staff, stakeholders, and visitors.
- Provide a high level of customer service.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Prior experience in a security role, preferably in a high-profile or government environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, drive and mentor team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- A professional approach and high standards of personal presentation.
Requirements:
- Full Australian working rights.
- Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.
- Valid Tasmanian Security licence(control room subcategory is highly desirable).
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
- Working With Vulnerable People (or willing to obtain).
