Now we’re searching for a Category Manager – Beauty & Home to take the lead in transforming two of our most exciting categories.
• About the role:
As Category Manager – Beauty & Home, you’ll lead the commercial and creative vision for these high-potential categories, building a compelling, on-trend, value-focused assortment. You’ll manage a dynamic team of Buyers and a Buying Assistant, own the full product lifecycle, and ensure every decision aligns with customer needs, market trends, and profitability goals. We are looking for someone with proven experience in growing these categories in line with the overall strategic direction.
From the perfect skincare drop to the next big homeware hero, you’ll make sure we get the best deals in the market and deliver exceptional online shopping experiences.
• Your Key Responsibilities:
• Set and own the category strategy for Beauty & Home — trend-led, value-driven, and built for profit.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Buyers and a Buying Assistant — driving pace, creativity and accountability.
• Build sharp assortments that tap into what customers want now, and what's next.
• Negotiate the best deals in market — from pricing to exclusivity — while protecting margin.
• Collaborate across teams (Marketing, Ecom, Planning, Logistics) to ensure flawless execution from supplier to site.
• Analyse performance daily — optimise pricing, promos, and sell-through in real-time.
• Champion a data-led, test-and-learn mindset to keep improving product, pricing, and customer value.
• What You Bring:
• A proven track record in senior buying, trading or category management roles — with strong Beauty experience a necessity.
• Experience leading buying teams in a fast-paced, commercial retail environment.
• An intuitive understanding of what makes shoppers click — and a knack for spotting winning products early.
• Sharp commercial instincts with strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Highly analytical and confident using data, dashboards and performance metrics to drive decisions.
• A proactive, agile, hands-on mindset — you lead from the front.
• Passion for lifestyle trends, customer behaviour, and smart retailing.
