The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a National Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team based in Sydney on a 12 month fixed-term parental cover contract.
Our Finance group is a hard-working and passionate team of professionals responsible for delivering efficient and accurate financial service, administration and advice within the firm. Working closely with our National Accounts Payable Team Leader, in this role you will be responsible for supporting the National Accounts Payable team with day to day employee expense management, and processing and reconciliation of transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Working as part of a national team, in this role you will be responsible for:
- Processing American Express and employee expense claims
- Reviewing expense claims to ensure they comply with firm policy
- Attending to employee queries such as coding, policies and various requests
- Escalating no compliance with National Accounts Payable Team Leader
- Providing support with annual audit requests
- Actively analyse and ensure all expense claims are submitted by due date
- Daily reconciliation and processing of the office bank account transactions
- Daily processing of the treasury, payroll and partner draw payments
- Overseeing the printing and saving of EFT remittance statements
- Provide support to the Accounts Payable Team Leader with ad hoc tasks as required
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounts payable or associated accounts administration role
- Experience in a professional services environment is desirable but not essential
- Chrome River or Expense Management System experience is required
- Experience in reconciling and processing bank account transactions
- Intermediate use of other Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Intermediate use of a Client Management System (CMS) or practice management system (Aderant Expert is preferable)
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
