National Compliance & Quality Manager
Location: Negotiable within Australia or New Zealand
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Preston Rowe Paterson, one of Australasia’s leading property valuation and advisory firms, is seeking to appoint a National Compliance & Quality Manager following the planned retirement of a long-standing member of our executive team.
This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced and respected Certified Practising Valuer to influence and uphold the highest quality and compliance standards across our commercial and rural valuation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality and compliance of valuation reporting across the PRP network.
- Conduct formal quality audits on reports submitted to our clients, including major banking institutions.
- Provide structured feedback and training to valuers to foster continual improvement in reporting standards.
- Lead the enhancement and evolution of our proprietary reporting platform to drive quality-focused outcomes.
- Manage and maintain national report templates to ensure consistency and best practice application.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will likely possess:
- Extensive experience as a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV), with demonstrated expertise in both commercial and rural property sectors.
- A thorough understanding of banking sector requirements, particularly in relation to valuation standards and compliance expectations.
- Familiarity with CoreLogic and Valocity panel management systems and policies.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to broader organisational risk management and governance practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide clear, constructive, and sometimes critical feedback in a supportive and collegiate manner.
- A deep and current knowledge of Australian and New Zealand Valuation Standards, as well as their relationship to International Valuation Standards.
- Professional membership with the Australian Property Institute (API) or equivalent, and current CPV status.
