Job Description
Oaks Mackay Rivermarque is excited to expand our housekeeping department and are currently seeking a Night Common Area Cleaner to join us on Monday and Tuesday nights.
About the job:
- Maintain high standards of cleaning common areas
- Assisting with after-hours guest enquiries, addressing issues promptly, and occasionally supporting late check-ins.
- Completing cleaning tasks efficiently and within the timeframes allocated.
- Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively—with all training and tools provided.
- Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.
Working Hours:
Monday and Tuesday - 10pm until 6am.
(working hours are subject to change on some occasions).
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
- Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to handle repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests, team members, and contractors.
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required.
