About the Role
Newington College is seeking a motivated and energetic Office Administrator to join the administration team at Lindfield Preparatory School as soon as possible.
Reporting to the Associate Principal, the Office Administrator is responsible for delivering high-quality and efficient administrative and operational support, while also contributing to a welcoming and professional first impression of Newington College at the Lindfield campus.
In addition to general administrative duties, the role includes direct responsibility for the organisation and management of the co-curricular activity program.
As the first point of contact for most visitors to Lindfield School House, the Office Administrator is expected to consistently demonstrate exceptional professionalism and maintain strict confidentiality in all communications and interactions with staff, students, parents, and members of the wider Newington community.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 weeks per year, comprising 38 term-time weeks and 2 non-term weeks to be scheduled during school holidays in consultation with the Associate Principal.

About You
We have deliberately not provided set and narrow selection criteria. However, it would be expected that the successful candidate will:
- have proven experience in administrative support role within preferably education context (or similar)
- have experience in managing relationships with both internal and external customer with a focus on customer service
- demonstrate professionalism in liaising with staff, students, and parents within the school community
- demonstrate ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- have strong verbal and written communication skills
- demonstrate strong problem-solving skill with an analytical approach
- demonstrate high attention to details and ability to develop and refine procedures to improve performance outcome
- demonstrate a good computer literacy including p the use of Microsoft office suite and other database systems. Experiences in school-based system is advantageous.
- radiate energy, passion and enthusiasm for the College and the community.
