For over 25 years, Wesley Out of School Hours Care has been creating spaces where children feel at home, families feel supported, and Educators feel valued. We provide high-quality before and after school care and vacation care for primary school-aged children, with 12 services across Sydney and the Central Coast. Our programs are shaped by the My Time, Our Place framework and guided by the voices of children, families, and schools. About the role
Become a valued part of our OOSH team as a casual or part-time Educator, working across before school care, after school care, and vacation care programs. Successful applicants may be considered for roles at other Wesley Mission OOSH services, with flexibility to assist different locations when required.

You will bring energy, enthusiasm, and motivation to your work, along with a collaborative approach to engaging with families, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Essential criteria
- demonstrated ability to be encouraging and passionate about providing children with engaging activities
- good organisational and time management skills
- current Employee Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
- ability to work as part of a team
- good communication and relational skills with children, staff and families
Desirable criteria
- Certificate III/IV in Children’s Services or working towards
- current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Child Protection Certificate
- Current driver’s Licence
- experience in working with school age children
- experience in sport coaching
- demonstrated ability to be creative
- a working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and ‘My Time, Our Place’
- intermediate Computer skills
Remuneration
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Children’s Services Award with generous salary packaging available. Other benefits include discounted private health cover, study assistance and Employee Assistance Program.
