About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced (minimum 2 years as equivalent position) Operations Manager to oversee and optimise our day-to-day business operations. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, Coopers Plain.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate daily manufacturing and service operations
- Implement systems and procedures to improve operational efficiency and quality
- Manage supply chains, stock, inventory, and project timelines
- Monitor budgets and resource allocation, ensuring operational profitability
- Supervise and lead team members, including training and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with WHS (Work Health & Safety) and transport regulations
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to maintain high service levels
- Prepare operational reports and contribute to strategic planning
Skills & Qualifications Required
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics or a related field
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in an operations management role, preferably in transport, logistics, or manufacturing
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced understanding of operational KPIs and continuous improvement processes
- Proficient with digital management tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory software, MS Office)
- Knowledge of Australian workplace safety, environmental, and transport regulations
Preferred:
- Prior experience managing operations in the heavy vehicle sector
- Understanding of HVAC or mechanical system installations (desirable but not essential)
- Experience working in or with Australian businesses
- English language, fluent level.
