We are seeking a motivated individual to form part of the Cut Edge and Fit operation as a fitter at our Tonsley Laboratory. Reporting to the Lab Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing a consistent quality product which can be delivered to the customer within expected time frames.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Cutting and fitting of Ophthalmic lenses to all styles of spectacle frames
- Making precision optical parts
- Monitor equipment and processes completing agreed maintenance programs as requested
- Carry out equipment calibrations in accordance with quality requirements
- Assist in providing customer solutions in specialty lens sourcing situations
- Work in partnership with Lab Manager and team members to meet company targets and address any customer issues
The key skills required for this role include:
- Previous fitting experience not required
- Motivation to take on new tasks and learn new skills
- A can-do attitude with high attention to detail
- Ability to communicate across various teams within the organisation
- Reliable team member who is punctual and organised
