Spillers Quality Corrosion Control is seeking highly qualified Painting Trades Person to join our team of professionals on a full time and permanent basis
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Understand surface preparation and finishes.
- Proper handling of all vehicles giving it due care and detailed attention
- Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
- Be able to mix correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
- Proper appropriation of consumables and materials to avoid wastage
- Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
- Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
- Able to carry out minor repairs as and when deemed necessary
- Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters)
- High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift
- Trade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs)
- HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and Forklift
- Drivers Licence (MR or HR class)

Salary: Between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + Super
