From our newest location in Yatala, our in-house bakery supplies our 25 lunch vans, servicing local suburbs between Gold Coast and Brisbane, with fresh and delicious pies, sausage rolls, cakes and slices on a daily basis.

- Great pay rate from $33.19 per hour casual adult rate (21+), dependent on age, experience/qualification
- Work 3-5 shifts per week, 18-40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 6-8 hour shifts rostered between the hours of 4.00am – 1.00pm
- Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle needed due to limited public transport options
Please note -
- Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role
- Payrate listed is for an adult 21+ years old and will be less for younger applicant
Role tasks and opportunities
- Adhere to Safe Food Handling procedures/HACCP, leading by example with no exceptions, health and safety first!
- Operate bakery equipment, including pastry sheeting experience ideal- essential for preparation and weighing of ingredients, mixing, making and sheeting pastry
- Oven work and baking
- Basic cake decorating experience
- Practicing cleanliness and hygiene at all times
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment and facilities
- The physical nature of the role requires bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward on a frequent basis, with repetitive tasks also requiring the ability to stand in the one place for extended periods of time
