NPT is currently seeking applications for casual Patient Transport Officers for the following areas:
- Melbourne Metro
- Hume Region servicing Wangaratta, Benalla and Wodonga
- Goulburn Region servicing Shepparton, Kilmore & Seymour
- South Western Region servicing Warrnambool and Hamilton
To be considered for a Patient Transport Officer role at National Patient Transport, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a minimum Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport (or equivalent qualification).

Responsibilities:
- Primary care, monitoring and treatment of patients during transport;
- Provision of clinical handovers for all inter-hospital and diagnostic related transfers;
- Performing, as part of a team, to deliver high quality care and treatment in a timely, safe and efficient manner;
- Complying with patient care related clinical and operational policies and procedures as specified in the patient transport regulations and Clinical Practice Protocols;
- Safe driving of patient transport vehicles in accordance with respective road laws across Victoria.
