The NRW Payroll Team supports multiple business units within the group and are now currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Belmont based team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager this is a fulltime permanent position, however an FTE of 0.8 would be considered for the right applicant. This position would largely support one of our business units but will also be supported by others in the payroll team as required.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Processing of both weekly and fortnight high-volume pays across a diverse range of projects and agreements.
- Maintain payroll records and employee data.
- Assist in the preparation of scheduled and ad hoc reports related to payroll.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience in end-to-end payroll within a large organisation.
- Experience in MYOB PayGlobal is desirable.
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Exposure to setting up of new employees and processing terminations.
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal / communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to problem solve.
