Position summary
Our client is seeking two experienced Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinators to support a major offshore Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) project. Working on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation, you’ll play a vital role in managing the PTW system and ensuring safe, compliant operations. One position will cover dayshift and the other nightshift.
The role begins in Perth with 1–2 weeks of onboarding and inductions before transitioning offshore. The official start date is Monday, 13 October 2025, with the offshore phase commencing shortly thereafter.

About the role
As a PTW Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the Permit to Work system and ensuring safe and compliant execution of all offshore activities in line with company and project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the PTW system for all planned and ongoing offshore work.
- Review, approve, and issue permits in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with performing parties to complete risk assessments during the planning phase.
- Conduct compliance checks, site audits, and spot inspections to ensure PTW processes are followed.
- Facilitate daily PTW coordination meetings and maintain accurate records of planned activities.
- Maintain all PTW-related documentation and reporting requirements.
About you
We’re seeking skilled professionals with proven PTW coordination experience and a strong safety focus.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Demonstrated experience working as a PTW Coordinator.
- Offshore experience preferred, but mining and other heavy industry backgrounds are welcomed.
- Strong knowledge of PTW principles and the ability to apply them effectively in project and site environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with electronic PTW systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Qualifications in WHS, Engineering, or related disciplines (desirable but not mandatory).
