About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced PERU Operator to join our team at the Tullamarine Depot.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical networks. Your primary duties will include safely and effectively operating plant and equipment to facilitate tasks such as boring holes and lifting power poles into position.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide assistance and essential plant operation support to electrical line workers
- Completing risk assessments/job safety analysis prior to commencing work at each site
- Collaborate with various teams to safely upgrade and maintain the electrical network
- Complete tasks within designated time frames to meet customer requirements
About You
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry and possess the following qualifications:
- Valid Australian HR Driver's Licence, with an HC (Heavy Combination) endorsement
- High Risk Work Licence with C2 Endorsement
- A strong understanding of electrical safety practices, along with knowledge of relevant electrical legislation, codes, and industry standards
