- Stream A Level 5 to Level 6 competency based - $93,401 / $100,017 per annum + superannuation
- + $6,000 Relocation Allowance (for suitable candidates)
- + 9-day fortnight / 36.25hr week

What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Planner to join our dynamic team. Your previous experience working in a development assessment and/ or a strategic planning role will help us succeed. Well-developed communication skills are a must, as is your practical knowledge of the Queensland land use planning framework. You will be delivering quality town planning advice and services to the Fraser Coast Community.

What you’ll need for success:
- AQF level 7 (or above) in town planning recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA)
- Experience assessing development applications
- Experience in interpreting and applying legislation
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Queensland Class “C” drivers’ licence
What’s nice to have:
- Experience in Local Government Development (Building/Planning)
- Membership or eligibility for membership of the Planning Institute of Australia
