Full-Time Pool Technician Wanted | Wellness Centre – Bondi, NSW
We are seeking a full-time Pool Technician to join our wellness centre in the heart of Bondi. Our facility specializes in magnesium plunge pools (both hot and cold), and we’re looking for someone with expert knowledge and a passion for maintaining a safe, hygienic, and high-quality environment for our clients.
About the Role:
As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and hygiene of our magnesium plunge pools and wellness facilities. Your role is key to ensuring the water quality, chemical balance, and overall cleanliness of our pools, delivering a premium experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular testing and balancing of pool water chemistry, including magnesium treatments for both hot and cold plunge pools.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of pool equipment, filtration systems, and pumps.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all NSW Health regulations for commercial pools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to pool systems.
- Ensure pools are hygienic, safe, and visually appealing at all times.
- Work closely with the wellness centre team to provide a seamless experience for our clients.
- Keep detailed maintenance logs, including water quality reports and equipment maintenance records.
About You:
- Experience essential in all areas: Proven experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar role is required. You must have expertise in maintaining commercial pools, specifically plunge pools, including both hot and cold water systems.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry, and filtration systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair pool-related systems.
- NSW Health Compliance: Familiarity with NSW Health guidelines and regulations for commercial pools.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle heavy equipment and perform technical tasks in a commercial wellness setting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with both clients and the team.
