The Positive Behaviour Support Team is responsible for delivering quality services to people with disabilities via integrated planning and direct individual support. Our Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners encourage the evidence-based approach and empower participants to achieve a meaningful and safe quality of life. This dynamic team is multidisciplinary, experienced, growing and has a culture of reflective supervision and professional development.

The Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner provides PBS services to participants both within SensesWA and externally. The Practitioner will uphold the rights of the person with a disability by looking to support the person through, person-centred strategies reflected in their behaviour support plan.

What you will bring to the role:

• Registration at proficient or core levels of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

• Or Tertiary qualification in a relevant Allied Health profession and PBSP certification with current registration.

• A minimum of 1 years’ applied experience as a registered PBS Practitioner.

• Demonstrated experience of the assessment and delivery of Services and report writing within the timeframe

• Working knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. - Positive Behaviour Support Framework and relevant disability legislations.

• A current and valid WA driver's license, Working With Children (WWC) Check, NDIS Workers screen and First Aid certification.

• Provide and maintain proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
