For the past 3years we have had the most incredible Practice Manager, and it is time for her to move on into a different role. She has been described as the "glue" that holds the business together, and the applicant we are looking for to replace her has those same qualities.

This role is for a true people person. Someone who has led and inspired teams in the workplace. We are a team of 15 health professionals and admin and our PM is one of our 2 leaders, alongside our CEO/senior physio.
Our Practice Manager is the true 2IC of the business, reports to the CEO, is in charge of our admin team of 5, and also has a leadership role with our practitioners.
This is a flexible role, and the bulk of the role is performed in the clinic, although certain tasks can be completed from home if that is your preference. There are occasional times where you would need to be customer facing, and this is predominantly a back office role although we would prefer to hire someone with advanced customer service and conflict resolution skills. For the right person we can offer school hours, or longer/shorter days. When admin team members are sick you will be required to cover the front desk at occasional times.
The environment at Scarborough Physio and Health is fast paced, and the Practice Manager role is busy and we require someone who is capable of multi tasking. We need someone who is a problem solver, who takes initiative and has worked in leadership, management or directorship roles where making decisions on the go (with some mentoring/guidance from the Director) is part of your role.
We are seeking someone who considers themselves inspiring as a leader, with high level communication skills, and the ability to speak to people from all walks of life as we have a diverse community - you will be dealing most closely with our team of practitioners and admin, but will also be liaising with referrers, external stakeholders, our many patients, and almost anyone in our large community.
A high level of performance and commitment to the business is required to succeed in this role.

10. Technology - ability to learn Mailchimp, Canva, and other types of software we use in the role

- Marketing skills and experience, including high level knowledge of Facebook

- High level design of policies and procedures
- Our current Practice Manager makes amazing bsicuits! (this is not essential) and the biscuit tin is always full when she is around
- Knowledge of the physiotherapy/allied health industry is essential for this role. We will teach you elements of our psychology and massage services
