Role Overview:
The Enterprise Sales Consultant will play a pivotal role in driving sales success by providing pre-sales consultation, delivering tailored demonstrations, and crafting innovative solutions using ERP and partner software. This person will be part of the Sales & Marketing team, supporting the company as a whole.
This role will act as a bridge between clients and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with customer needs and organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish credibility as a trusted advisor to senior buyers and decision-makers.
- Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations, including deep dives into ERP and partner solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to craft tailored solutions addressing client needs.
- Assist in developing proposals, pricing models, and solution briefs.
- Manage customer requirements through consultation and workshops.
- Provide input on product development, aligning feedback with market opportunities.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks during solution planning and delivery.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless solution delivery
- Act as a liaison between customers, Product Strategy, and R&D, providing feedback for product development and coordinating with Sales and Marketing for sales cycles.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect role in the software industry.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems. with experience in designing software solutions for Mining, Mining Services, or Construction industries.
- Broad business knowledge in areas like GL, AP, inventory, supply chain, and assets.
- Proven ability to design and demonstrate software solutions, particularly in industries like mining, manufacturing, or construction.
- Strong presentation abilities and experience in delivering solution demonstrations.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, work independently, think on your feet, and handle pressure.
- Proficiency in delivering presentations and technical demonstrations.
