Pricing Optimisation Lead

Bank of Queensland
$108,514 - $137,403 a year
Queensland
Full time
About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a commercially savvy and analytically sharp Pricing Optimisation Lead to join our Retail Banking team. In this role, you’ll be working closely with the Home Lending, Business Lending and Deposit Product teams to help shape how we price our products, manage margins, and optimise returns.

Your day-to-day will involve diving into data to uncover insights that guide tactical decisions and support pricing recommendations for our Product and Pricing Committee. You’ll play a key part in driving growth and unlocking value across our product portfolio.

You’ll also be keeping an eye on market trends and competitor activity, helping us stay ahead of the curve. Building strong relationships with stakeholders will be essential, as you’ll work with teams across the business to bring pricing strategies to life. And when it comes to discretion usage, you’ll be the one keeping things on track and transparent.

About you

You bring a blend of financial acumen and analytical expertise, ideally with experience in the Financial Services sector. You’re confident working with data and translating insights into actionable strategies.

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Qualifications or experience as an Accountant, CFA, or similar (desirable).
  • Strong modelling skills (Excel and/or other platforms).
  • Familiarity with data querying (e.g. SQL) and visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders.
