Your opportunity to join our team

Based at Inghams Further Processing site at Lisarow as the Quality Supervisor you will support the Site Quality Assurance Manager by ensuring accurate and cost-effective food safety, animal welfare and quality assurance monitoring and verification processes. You will work closely with the operational team and lead and mentor the sites quality control inspectors.

This is an afternoon shift vacancy, hours are from 2:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise the implementation of quality assurance systems and procedures.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, including corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless quality integration.
• Maintain accurate QA documentation, including reports and non-conformance records.
• Support internal and external audits as required.

You will bring to this role:

• Experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Previous experience in a ready-to-eat environment or poultry processing (desirable).
• External relationship building capabilities
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, quality management systems and auditing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computer systems related to QA processes.
• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Quality Management, or similar (preferred).
