About the role
The Pricing & Product Operations Specialist supports the delivery and maintenance of energy product requirements for AGL, ensuring accurate pricing, system processes, and customer communications. The role focuses on minimising product and pricing errors, particularly within SAP, Salesforce and supports acquisition and retention activities that align with AGL’s broader commercial strategy.

Working closely with cross-functional teams and reporting into the Product & Pricing chapter, the Specialist ensures compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence while contributing to gross margin optimisation and overall commercial performance. Strong attention to detail, process improvement, and collaboration are key to success in this role.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Deliver product campaigns and initiatives for acquisition, retention, and value optimisation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all product-related documentation and communications.
  • Manage end-to-end product operations throughout the customer lifecycle, focusing on data integrity, process effectiveness, and error-free product and pricing interactions.
  • Lead key product projects, including error remediation, new product or pricing structures, and the implementation of regulatory changes.
  • Support portfolio simplification and efficiency, driving initiatives like end of products and decommissioning to streamline the product offering.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define and execute operational activities for energy products, ensuring seamless communication and driving improvements in system processes.
  • Oversee offshore teams and operational performance, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements.

About you:
  • Previous demonstrated experience working within an operations environment.
  • Ability to manage and work through complexity and deal with ambiguity within energy, product and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle conflicting priorities and operate autonomously where required.
  • Jira and Agile environment experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively problem solve, strong excel and SQL skillset preferential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clear and concise customer outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.
