Base Salary from $126,065 to $142,171 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The Procurement Enablement Specialist leads the development and implementation of the University's Contract and Catalogue strategy, enhancing procurement effectiveness and user experience. The role drives improvements, manages cross-functional initiatives, and supports continuous optimisation of procurement processes.
This position is required to apply professional project/change management knowledge, experience and know-how in relation to process improvement and technology enablement, utilising industry best practice to contribute to the operational implementation of procurement arisen solutions.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
collaborate with category portfolio managers, procurement leadership, and university stakeholders to align content strategy with operational deliverables
conduct analysis of catalogue performance and user engagement and identify improvement opportunities and implement changes in collaboration with stakeholders
identify and prioritise process enhancements that improve operational efficiency
act as a key escalation point for complex catalogue and content-related issues
guide and support team members to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment.
About you
postgraduate qualifications and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience
demonstrated experience in the use of procurement / buying systems e.g. SAP Ariba
demonstrated experience in a procurement function in a large, complex organisation will be an advantage, but not essential
excellent stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to build and manage trusted client relationships with tact and professionalism
problem solving skills, including innovative thinking and the ability to exercise good judgement.
