We’re looking for a proactive Procurement Officer to help drive smarter purchasing, streamlined sourcing, and effective supplier management across Unitywater.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering value by supporting day-to-day procurement and supply chain activities, managing contracts, ensuring timely supplier payments, and maintaining accurate records. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to deliver fit-for-purpose procurement and supply chain outcomes that support operational excellence and strategic goals.

Qualifications & Licensing
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, or related field (desirable)
- Membership with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent (desirable)
- Current C Class driver’s licence
- Experience in purchasing and supply chain activities within a large, fast-paced organisation
- Proven ability to support procurement processes with accuracy, sound judgement, and discretion
- Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain and finance systems, and the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience delivering high-quality administrative services in a system-driven environment
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the work environment
- Able to communicate clearly and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work independently
- Effective problem-solving skills with a practical and solutions-focused mindset
- Resilient and energetic, with the ability to see tasks and projects through to completion
