- This role is Permanent Part-time, 60hrs/fortnight.

- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts (with a spread of hours from 8:00am and 10:00pm).
- You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
- Assisting customers on the As-Is shop floor, being curious to understand their needs and providing your expert knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
- Presenting and pricing IKEA products on the As-Is shop floor in a commercial way and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
- Prioritising giving products a second chance by repackaging them back into a saleable condition where possible.
- Regularly assembling IKEA furniture while always securing that it is assembled according to the instructions to ensure complete functionality.
- Within the store, communicating the quality message and quality reporting process to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products.
- Always considering the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover and recycle products.
- Building strong relationships within your team and with other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Always acting as a safety ambassador and following the appropriate procedures and ways of working to ensure safety is a top priority.
- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work effectively independently.
- Someone who is passionate about the IKEA range, enjoys assembling furniture, and has a sustainability mindset.
- Goal oriented and a motivated problem-solver.
- Experience with regular use of computers and IT systems, with the ability to learn and apply new systems.
- A strong customer focus – you enjoy answering customer queries and assisting in helping them find solutions.
- The ability to think outside the box and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced operational environment with competing priorities,
- Comfortable with regular physical work and manual handling, including repetitive lifting and bending.
