- These roles are Permanent Part-time, 30hrs/fortnight

- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
- Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
- Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
- Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging them back into a saleable condition.
- Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
- Support the quality work in the store to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products.
- Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
- Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that cultivates a strong understanding of product recovery, quality and compliance processes.
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment within the IKEA store, always ensuring the well-being of both customers and co-workers.
- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
- A passion for building furniture, our products, and our sustainability initiatives.
- Experience with regular use of computers and IT systems.
- Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and ability and be able to think outside of the box.
- A safety mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting.
- Motivated, results-driven mindset that does not shy away from challenges.
- Comfortable with the physicality associated with this role, similar to a warehouse co-worker.
