We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Mill Production Operator to join our team in Maffra, on a rotating shift structure (currently day and afternoon shift).

The key responsibilities for this position include:Comply with relevant OHS/WHS legislation including:

- Attends and participates in all relevant training and personal development.
- Actively participates in planned site meetings.
- Compliance with relevant HACCP requirements, ensuring activities comply with the program and assisting to manage the maintenance of HACCP accreditation.
- Understanding and awareness of Feedsafe, ensuring activities comply with the program and assisting to manage the maintenance of Feedsafe accreditation.
- Participate in site Continuous improvement program.
- Ensure all aspects of the manufacturing process are planned and executed within the acceptable tolerances and to site targets.
- Empty storage silo of finished product into designated tote bins
- Prepare and fill bulk bags of finished feeds as required
- Accurate inventory reconciliation and reporting to site management
- Ensure at all times that the plant and equipment meet specified standards, and is in a safe working condition.
- Staff and workplace issues reported to Site Manager when they occur focusing on continual improvement.
- Any other responsibilities and/or Authorities as specifically designated by Shift Supervisor, Site Manager or Delegate.
- Identify and report non-conformances as per Ridley process.
- Test and unload incoming raw materials and products
- Test and load outgoing finished products
- Check off and verify incoming products and materials
- Prepare the hand tip weighing of premixes accurately for each production run of finished feed
- Learn, be trained on all key production requirements to support the Shift Supervisor
- Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation.
- Be able to work shift work and overtime
- Have good communication skills
- Physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks
- Be able to work in a team environment to meet all targets
- Be reliable and motivated
- Sound computing skills. Able to work in Office and AX programs.
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current Forklift Licence
