The Opportunity
Due to growth of the business, and an increase in volume of work, Barossa Fine Foods is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team in a permanent full-time role within our food manufacturing facility, specifically as a Boner responsible for the safe use of knives to cut, trim, de-bone and skin fresh meat. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the production of high-quality smallgoods and other meat products.
What we are looking for
- Trained experience in using knives to cut, trim, de-bone and skin fresh meat
- Have a minimum year 10 high school education.
- Previous smallgoods manufacturing and/or food manufacturing experience.
- Must be effective in, and have the ability to follow, written/verbal communications.
- Be able to work under pressure and to a deadline.
- Ideally, have computing skills in basic Office type software plus an ability to comprehend data presented electronically.
- Ability to change and adapt to customer and business needs.
- Willingness to learn and train in food manufacturing industry for career advancement and development.
