Help us deliver like never before
Australia Post is delivering like never before. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.
About the opportunity
At Australia Post, we’re delivering the future of our network through some of the most significant facility developments in the country – projects ranging from $10 million to more than $100 million that drive innovation and improve operational efficiency.
As our Program Assurance Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the Senior Project Manager/s within Network Operations to ensure these large-scale, complex programs are delivered successfully. This is a dynamic position that keeps the program operating rhythm on track, with responsibilities spanning schedule reviews and updates, financial forecasting, documentation management, and governance reporting.
You’ll act as the central point of coordination, facilitating workshops and meetings, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders, and providing essential support in governance, scheduling, data analysis, and modelling. In a fast-paced environment, your ability to adapt, prioritise, and manage competing demands will be key to ensuring program objectives are met and stakeholder engagement is strong throughout the project lifecycle.
What you’ll deliver with us
As a Program Assurance Coordinator, you’ll help drive the success of Australia Post’s major facility developments by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to our enterprise priorities. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining program rhythm, providing financial oversight, and fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Deliver project excellence by maintaining schedules, monitoring objectives and risks, and ensuring all project deliverables are captured and stored in line with Australia Post methodology.
- Support financial performance through accurate budget forecasting, expenditure reporting, and managing purchase orders and invoices.
- Enable collaboration and customer focus by working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and automation initiatives that benefit our people, customers, and communities.
- Champion safety and change adoption by fostering a culture of wellbeing, teamwork, and seamless integration of new ways of working across the program lifecycle.
About you
You’re an adaptable professional with experience coordinating and delivering complex projects or business improvement initiatives, ideally within supply chain, transport, property development, or operational environments. You bring:
- 3+ years’ experience coordinating and delivering projects or business improvement initiatives in relevant operational environments.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder engagement across large, complex teams, both internal and external.
- Strong technical skills in project scheduling, financial reporting, and governance support.
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, with a focus on critical thinking and financial management.
