We are seeking an experienced individual to lead the administration, governance, analysis and reporting over the full cycle of Council projects.
As the Project Controls & Reporting Coordinator you will work closely with subject matter experts, projects sponsors, project managers, external stakeholders, and Wagga Wagga Community to develop effective relationships that contribute to analysing, reporting and developing the efficient delivery of Council’s projects and programs.

Your new role:
This position is responsible for establishing, implementing and managing the project governance and reporting framework within Council.
Key responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Analyse project data using Power BI and Excel to provide proactive recommendations
- Prepare and implement project performance monitoring and reporting in terms of time, cost, and quality.
- Undertake project governance functions including facilitating stage gate reviews, and coordinating with project managers to review project scheduling .
- Review and research on program of works and identify anomalies and assist in managing and delivering the project portfolio ensuring defined performance, financial and timeframe requirements are achieved using project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Drive a data culture by providing progress reports and dashboards and variance actions on portfolio performance in a timely manner including updates to Councillor bulletin, newsletters, annual reports etc.
- Prepare and deliver high level presentations, reports and briefing papers to Council’s internal project committees, Executive Leadership Team, Managers, Project Sponsor(s), Elected Members and State and Federal agencies as required.
What you will need to succeed:
In order to be successful in this role, you must possess project management and data analytics experience relevant to the role.
