Role Details
The Lot Fourteen Project Officer – District Operations is responsible for managing multiple projects and providing advice to support the district’s strategic objectives and priorities. The Project Officer will contribute to the planning and delivery of complex projects and be accountable for successfully achieving designated project activities and deliverables in relation to ongoing district operations. including areas across technology, sustainability, security and arts and culture.Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.

On behalf of the state government, the department is leading the management and delivery of Lot Fourteen, a world-class innovation district with a curated, collaborative research and business ecosystem dedicated to driving increased productivity and solving complex global challenges.
Led by the State Lead for Lot Fourteen and South Australia’s Innovation Places, the cross-government project team also has responsibility for implementation of the state’s Innovation Places Leadership Framework and development and delivery of Adelaide City Deal projects including Tarrkarri-Centre for First Nations Cultures, the Innovation Hub and the Australian Defence Technologies Academy.
One of the most exciting economic development projects in Australia, Lot Fourteen is providing a springboard for innovation and bringing together the state’s leading abilities in space, defence, cyber and creative industries with a focus on enabling critical technologies.
Lot Fourteen is currently home to a skilled workforce of more than 1,700 people from more than 150 businesses, attracting some of the world’s most innovative organisations including Amazon Web Services, Salesforce and Cisco.
The district is also home to research and industry powerhouses such as the Australian Space Agency, SmartSat CRC, Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre, the Australian Institute for Machine Learning, Stone and Chalk start-up hub and The Circle – First Nations Entrepreneur Hub.
