Project Support Officer
Location: Dubbo
Employment type: Ongoing Full Time
Salary: $97,027 to $107,059 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
The Maintenance Support Officer undertakes a range of research, analysis, reporting, implementation, and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of the maintenance programs of work, in line with established business objectives.
What you’ll do
As part of the Major Program Delivery Team within Infrastructure and Assets, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Provide a range of financial, administrative and support services to meet the business needs of the team/unit
- Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of maintenance programs comply with maintenance and department policies and procedures.
- Assist the maintenance and project teams to complete tasks in accordance with project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
- Develop, implement and monitor office systems, procedures and methods, adapting processes and techniques as required, to facilitate efficient team/unit operations in line with agency standards, policies and procedures.
- Update and maintain records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible
- Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned programs that contribute to support informed decision making and planning.
Respond to enquiries, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information to the team, service providers and suppliers.
The role is demanding, multi-facet and competing priorities. The role supports the manager and the teams.
The team is really aligned, work well together, enjoys a laugh and bouncing ideas at each other.
What we’re looking for
Our ideal candidate will display the following:
- Demonstrated capability to review and analyse information meticulously, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Skilled in identifying inconsistencies, errors, and areas for improvement to uphold high quality standards.
- Proven ability to coordinate, monitor and track maintenance progress, providing timely updates and accurate reports to support business objectives and process improvements.
- Experience supporting a manager.
- Strong Administrative experience.
- Trust and ensure confidentiality critical to the role.
A valid driver's license is required for this role, as it may require travel to various locations across NSW with overnight stays.
