About the Business
The Community Visitor Scheme (CVS) plays an essential role in promoting the wellbeing, dignity and rights of people living with a mental health condition who receive care from a mental health service, people living with a disability in a state-run disability service and those who are under the guardianship of the Public Advocate and participants in the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The CVS is a volunteer-led scheme that protects people's rights and supports the improvement of care services, with Community Visitors conducting visits and inspections and engaging with clients and their families to ensure they have adequate information regarding their treatment and are supported to achieve better outcomes.
Role Details
The Project Support Officer, Scheduler is a role within the Community Visitor Scheme and is accountable to the Assistant Principal Community Visitor for:
- delivering a comprehensive visitation and inspection service through managing the scheduling of visits to state-run Disability Accommodation, Mental Health Treatment Centres, Community Mental Health Centres, Public Advocate clients under guardianship who are in the NDIS and any other services as required
- applying high level coordination skills to support scheduling, reporting and executive support requirements
- supporting provision of data for research and reporting including discussion papers, annual reports, and others as required
- supporting administrative functions of the office including responding to queries of the Community Visitor Scheme.

- Some out of hours work may be required.
- Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
- This is initially a short term contract position with the potential to be converted to ongoing.
Role Status: Term up to 27/06/2026
Salary Range: $76,561 - $80,256 (ASO4)
