An exciting opportunity awaits for a Property Lease Manager to become an integral part of our dynamic and high-performing team, working onsite with a top-tier insurance client in the CBD. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete WIP and Debtors reports with applicable commentary
Review and approve lease obligation summary and send to relevant parties
Review and approve annual CPI and Fixed increases implemented
Liaise directly with the Transaction Management team to ensure alignment of data for lease abstraction, amendments, correspondence and exceptions, premises being exited or changes to current premises so that all database entries are complete and accurate always
Expenditure and Revenue rent roll review and variance reporting
Revenue recharges - identify variances, rectify and approve workflow
Review and prepare outgoings recharge sheet for existing expenditure portfolio including sublease tenants
Follow up revenue tenants for outstanding payments and approve workflow
Review year end reconciliation documentation and engage with Auditor
Interpret lease obligations for specific client obligations
Ensure Landlord compliance with lease obligations and resolve lease disputes as required
Maintain alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders
Facilitate outcomes to support Green Lease compliance and initiatives
Analyse portfolio expenditure, identify savings and provide market benchmarks
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in Property or Lease Management and commercial real estate
Solid understanding of lease structures and financial interpretations
Strong grasp of property databases and reporting systems
Strong client engagement and outcome-driven mindset
Exceptional attention to detail with solid analytical and problem solving skills
Familiarity with AASB16 lease standards and financial reconciliations
Proven ability to navigate and interpret lease documentation with precision and professionalism
