About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader, the Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the purchasing team in procuring materials and supplies necessary for the manufacturing of water tanks. This position will ensure that materials are purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner, and will work closely with suppliers to maintain effective relationships.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate must have proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management. Pioneer Water Tanks is seeking a savvy and analytical person with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Candidates with exposure to internal freight and experience with procurement software or ERP systems are highly desirable for the role.
