We're hiring for a Quality Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping our quality engineering strategy. In this role, you’ll drive the adoption and implementation of Shift Left quality principles and best practices across project teams, ensuring business value through collaboration and innovation. Working closely with our vendor partners, you’ll help deliver robust testing services across the enterprise, enabling rapid, efficient, and confident delivery of change. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with an optimization mindset, proven ability to influence outcomes, and experience embedding productivity into test strategies and approaches.
Reporting directly to the Test Portfolio Manager, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact on how quality is delivered at scale.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the adoption of modern quality engineering practices, champion Shift Left principles, and shape testing strategies that enable Australia Post to deliver change faster, smarter, and with confidence.
What you’ll deliver with us
- Lead quality delivery practices and services across portfolios, ensuring cost efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Drive transformation of testing services by embedding Shift Left principles and integrating quality into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve system stability, test efficiency, and overall quality outcomes.
- Identify quality risks and bottlenecks, propose solutions, and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with delivery teams, project managers, and business units to ensure visibility and alignment on quality activities.
- Provide governance, reporting, and strategic guidance on QA best practices, tools, and standards across projects.
About You
You’re a strategic Quality Architect with deep expertise in testing frameworks, governance, and automation. You excel at defining testing strategies across multiple projects and influencing teams to adopt best practices. With a strong focus on optimization and reusability, you champion Shift Left principles to embed quality early in the SDLC. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to articulate strategies clearly and align stakeholders on quality objectives.
You’ll also bring
- Proven leadership and technical project planning & management skills
- Influence the building of stakeholder confidence on delivering quality outcomes for their programs / projects.
- Extensive experience working within a Technology function in a large, complex organisation with proven experience leading testing teams
- Highly developed communication skills both written and oral
- A natural curiosity to enhance testing capability and introduce better ways of testing.
