We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth! In this role, you will effectively manage the quality function as part of the project QHSE to deliver a quality strategy for the project.

Webuild is the preferred bidder for the design and construction of the Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. This landmark project will replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns and families, delivering lasting benefits and a positive legacy for the people of Western Australia.

Your focus will include:
- Overall implementation and management of the project QA systems and processes whilst maintaining ISO 9001 compliance across multiple project sites.
- Develop a quality strategy for the project with a focus on Continuous Improvement and the delivery of a defect free building.
- Oversee the management subcontractor quality documentation including ITPs, NCRs, and defect records
- Identifying and managing all project audit requirements throughout the execution of the contract
- Ensure ongoing compliance with third-party certifications and pre-qualification requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractor quality compliance and drive best practices.
- Identify project key quality risks and opportunities whilst maintaining and communicating the project risk and opportunity register.
- Respond to major quality issues, mitigate risk, and educate the project team to build quality management capabilities.
- Develop and maintain QMS training materials for the internal knowledge platforms.
- Manage quality systems, ensuring functionality and user training.
- Mentor the project quality team and operational teams to build capability and consistency.
What you will bring to the team:
- Qualifications in Quality Management, Construction Management (preferred)
- 10+ years minimum experience in similar role managing quality across commercial building construction projects
- Demonstrated experience in construction / engineering / pre-fabrication environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes of practice, and Australian Standards
