About the role
We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality, Safety and Accreditation Manager to lead the strategic development and implementation of quality, risk and accreditation frameworks across BreastScreen SA (BSSA). In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll provide expert policy advice, oversee accreditation processes aligned with the BreastScreen Australia National Accreditation Standards, and support the State Quality Committee. Your work will ensure our services meet and exceed national standards while driving continual improvement in safety and service delivery outcomes.

You’ll collaborate with senior leaders, clinical teams, and external stakeholders to enhance systems, manage organisational change, and support training initiatives that improve workforce capability. About You
You’re a strategic and detail-oriented leader with a strong understanding of quality, safety and accreditation practices in the health sector. You bring relevant experience and a commitment to continuous improvement, along with a collaborative approach to managing change and fostering high standards across services.
Proven experience in service delivery or management within the South Australian health system.
Strong knowledge of healthcare quality, safety and accreditation, including familiarity with BSSA and NAS requirements.
Awareness of the challenges facing the health sector and ability to apply this insight to policy and process development.
Ability to meet SA Health’s compliance requirements, including current NPC, immunisation, and participation in emergency preparedness.
