About the role
As a Records Scanning Officer, you’ll play a significant role in preserving the Department of Education’s records by digitalising and securely uploading critical documents.
Your responsibilities:
- Scanning and Quality assurance of digitised documents
- Utilise systems such as TRIM and other software to ensure accurate and effective records management
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate the logistics of record pickups and transfer.
- Support the Team Leader Scanning in administration of the unit

About you
We’re seeking for a proactive individual that demonstrates:
- Effective time management and organisational skill to meet competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- High attention to detail to manage records accurately.
- Experience using basic MS office suite and records management systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Holds a valid Working with children check for paid employment
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
