Ozcare has an exciting opportunity for a talent acquisition specialist to lead a high performing team as a Recruitment Team Lead.
Your Role
As the lead of the Centralised Recruitment team, you will provide a variety of recruitment functions to support the growth and development of Ozcare locations across Queensland. This will include:
- Managing and developing a high-performing recruitment team by fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous process improvement
- Developing relationships and collaborating with internal managers to support and understand recruitment needs
- Providing strategic direction around recruitment systems, advertising, and attraction tools
- Providing high-level communication and advice to managers and applicants around recruitment functions via various channels, including phone calls, emails, direct messaging and business systems
- Maintaining employee data and documentation to ensure compliance in line with Ozcare policies and procedures
- Consistently monitor onboarding progress to ensure day one readiness for both candidates and managers
Role Requirements
As the Recruitment Team Lead, you will have previous experience in leading and coaching a team of recruiters. Therefore, you will ideally have the following qualifications/skills:
- 5+ years of recruitment experience in in agency and/or internal recruitment
- A history of driving effective, innovative recruitment initiatives and improving team performance
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders through superior verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated high standard of customer service for a positive representation of the Ozcare brand and business operations
- Demonstrate a high standard of personal and professional behaviour consistent with Ozcare's values of Integrity, Respect, Empathy and Compassion
- The ability to effectively prioritise and manage competing tasks as a part of the full recruitment process
- Strong administration and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated high level computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint
- Previous experience in the Aged Care or Disability Services industry would be desirable
