- Permanent - full-time, salaried position working a 24 x 7 shift work role based in the Regional Operations Centre (ROC)

As a Regional Network Supervisor within the QantasLink Regional Operations Centre (ROC) you will provide supervisory support to the Duty Operations Control team. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the Regional Duty Operations Controller team and play a key role in managing disruption recovery, stakeholder coordination, and strategic planning across the QantasLink network.
You will:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to Duty Operations Controllers across the QantasLink network, ensuring effective coordination and optimal use of Group assets during disruptions
- Act as the primary liaison between QantasLink Airline Operating Certificates (AOCs), leading Group-level recovery efforts and engaging key stakeholders including JOCC, IOC, CJO, QMET.
- Manage relationship with Qantas’ commercial Sales and Charters teams, ensuring best outcomes are delivered to our corporate customers.
- Deliver timely, costed recovery recommendations to the Manager ROC Operations, and serve as the escalation point for operational disruptions
- Collaborate on event planning and disruption recovery strategies, contributing to operational reviews, debriefs, and major disruption response teams such as GMDT and GCAT
- Drive continuous improvement by ensuring procedural updates are implemented and communicated, while upholding corporate service standards and compliance with Group policies
- Demonstrate a strategic mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence diverse stakeholders, and maintain a strong focus on operational excellence
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Aviation, Business, or Commerce (preferred), OR equivalent operational or airline experience with a proven track record in results-driven leadership within operational environments
