At NBMLHD we’re seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation and Injury Management Coordinator to join our Workforce Safety & Wellbeing team. You will play a key role in supporting Senior Managers with information and training surrounding Occupational Rehabilitation and Injury Management Issues. You will also provide vital support for Health workers with your proactive approach to case management as you facilitate a safe, timely, and durable return to duties for ill and injured employees.

What you will bring to the role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or an appropriate discipline and/or workers compensation and injury management experience and expertise. (*Formal qualifications may be offset by extensive management experience and proven expertise in injury management; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience).
- Well-developed oral and written communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Thorough understanding of injury management principles, combined with experience in managing a large caseload including complex and long term cases.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of Workers Compensation legislation and relevant regulations.
- Experience in the use of SolvInjury or similar injury management data base, Health Roster, Stafflink and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in the collection and analysis of data and the ability to prepare information for reporting purposes
- Possess or willing to obtain NSW SIRA Return to Work Coordinator Accreditation
- Current Driver’s License.
