Our client is seeking a highly capable Release and Deployment Process Manager to lead a critical function within a complex, enterprise-scale IT environment. This role supports seamless communication and operational continuity across cross-organizational teams by ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and execution of release and deployment activities. The successful candidate will manage a team of Release and Deployment Management Coordinators (RDMCs), while also contributing hands-on expertise when necessary. This position plays a pivotal role in setting policy, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the integrity of service transitions. You will oversee the full release lifecycle, from planning and testing to deployment and closure, ensuring alignment with governance and assurance frameworks. Please note that NV1 Security Clearance is required.
Your day at NTT
- Lead and manage a RDMC team, providing guidance and stepping in to perform coordinator tasks when required.
- Define and implement Release and Deployment Management (RDM) policy across development and operational environments.
- Ensure that all tools, processes, and resources are in place to support compliant and efficient service transitions.
- Oversee release planning, scheduling, testing, deployment, early life support, and closure activities.
- Authorize critical release activities and act as the escalation point for complex deployment issues.
Deliver governance and assurance services in alignment with Commonwealth requirements.
What would make you a good fit for this role?
- Proven experience in managing release and deployment processes within complex, secure environments.
Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders. - Deep understanding of ITIL-based service management, particularly in release, deployment, and change management.
- Ability to produce and interpret governance reports, ensuring adherence to RDM processes.
- Skilled in coordinating multinational release activities, including dependency management and back-out strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience participating in Change Advisory Boards and governance forums
