The opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated Research Officer to support the planning and implementation of the B4K effectiveness-implementation pilot study. This role offers a unique chance to take a lead in implementation design, app development, and co-design activities, with exciting plans to scale up to a larger trial in the future. The successful candidate will contribute to the pilot study’s delivery and help establish the foundation for expanding the project into a larger trial. If you have strong skills in research coordination, ethics submissions, data management, and both qualitative and quantitative analysis, this role provides a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact in child health research.

Your responsibilities include:
Contributing to developing the study protocol for the B4K effectiveness-implementation pilot
Contributing to content development for the B4K electronic platform
Facilitating co-design working group meetings with consumer associates and researchers
Assisting with submissions to Human Research Ethics Committee and funding organisations
Assisting with preparation of manuscripts for publication
Undertaking high calibre competitive research

What we need from you:
Relevant PhD/Doctoral qualification and relevant postdoctoral experience
Demonstrated experience in qualitative research methods
Demonstrated relevant computer skills and an understanding of a range of research methodologies and their application in empirical research
Experience in knowledge sharing, development, mentoring and support of employees and students
Excellent time management, organisational and analytical problem-solving skills
