This role is a Permanent Part Time contract: 20 hours per week - days/times flexible for the right candidate
In this rewarding front-line role, you will be the first point of contact for our residents, visitors, and service providers€”offering a welcoming, helpful presence while coordinating a range of village activities and services designed to make life easier and more enjoyable for our residents.
What you'll be doing in your new role:
Enhancing resident experience by supporting lifestyle programs, coordinating activities and events, and managing monthly newsletters
Providing IT support and concierge services, including resident assistance, welfare checks, contractor check-ins, and responding to general requests
Organising and running veteran-focused programs such as morning teas, lunches, and guest speaker sessions
Managing communications including resident letters, program updates, and community meeting minutes
Maintaining village presentation, overseeing reception/lobby cleanliness, and managing parcel and mail deliveries
Facilitating transport, meal deliveries, and access to services like hairdressing and home care
Supporting resident move-ins with welcome tours, access cards, and concierge onboarding
Our expectations are that you will have:
A background in hospitality, hotel management, or customer service with a passion for people
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and solve problems on the go
A warm and approachable manner with a genuine empathy for our residents and guests
Previous experience in a concierge, front desk, or community support role is highly desirable
